Refund policy

This Refunds & Returns Policy explains cancellation, return, refund, exchange, and damaged-item rules for Cool Is Gadgets orders. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country, state, province, or region.

Short version

If you need to cancel, contact us as soon as possible. Orders are easiest to cancel before supplier fulfillment starts.

For change-of-mind returns, contact us within 30 days after delivery. Items must be unused, undamaged, complete, and in original packaging. Customer-paid return shipping may apply unless local law says otherwise.

If an item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, missing parts, or materially different from the product page, contact us promptly with photos. We will review and offer an appropriate remedy.

Cancellation before fulfillment

Most orders enter a processing window after payment before we submit the order to a supplier. During this window, you may request cancellation by contacting support@coolisgadgets.com with your order number and checkout email.

If we can stop supplier fulfillment, we will cancel the order and issue a refund to the original payment method. If supplier fulfillment or shipment has already started, cancellation is not guaranteed and the return rules below may apply after delivery.

We may also cancel and refund an order if the item becomes unavailable, the shipping route is unavailable, the price or listing contains an obvious error, payment or fraud checks fail, the address cannot be verified, or the order cannot legally or practically be fulfilled.

Change-of-mind returns

Where allowed by law, Cool Is Gadgets offers a voluntary 30-day change-of-mind return request window after delivery for most physical accessories.

To qualify under this voluntary policy, the item must be unused, undamaged, complete, returned with all accessories/manuals, and in original packaging. If the product was sealed for hygiene, safety, or tamper-control reasons, the seal must be unbroken unless local law gives you a return right anyway.

Customer-paid return shipping applies to voluntary change-of-mind returns unless we agree otherwise or local law requires a different result. Original shipping charges may be non-refundable where allowed by law.

Damaged, defective, incorrect, or not-as-described items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, incomplete, or materially different from the product page, contact support@coolisgadgets.com promptly with your order number, checkout email, photos/video of the issue, packaging, shipping label, and any relevant carrier notice.

After review, we may offer a refund, replacement, repair, store credit, partial refund, keep-item resolution, supplier return process, or another legally appropriate remedy. The remedy may depend on the item, evidence, supplier rules, shipping country, and applicable consumer law.

Do not dispose of the item or packaging until the claim is resolved. Carriers and suppliers may require photos, inspection, or return of the item.

Return authorization required

Do not send items back without contacting us first. Return addresses can vary by product, supplier, and country. The address on a package may not be the correct return address.

Returns sent without approval, to the wrong address, after the return window, used, damaged, incomplete, or without reasonable tracking may be refused or refunded at a reduced amount where allowed by law.

Non-returnable or restricted items

Some items may be non-returnable or subject to stricter rules where allowed by law, including opened hygiene/personal-care items, customized items, consumables, items damaged by misuse, items missing parts, and products with broken hygiene or safety seals.

This does not remove mandatory rights for defective, damaged, incorrect, unsafe, or legally protected returns.

Refund timing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Payment providers and banks may take additional time to post the refund after we issue it.

For returns that require the item back, we may wait until we receive the item or receive acceptable proof of return shipment before issuing a refund, unless local law requires a faster refund.

US shipping-delay rights

For US customers, if we state a shipping timeframe, we aim to ship within that timeframe. If no shipping timeframe is stated, the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule generally uses a 30-day default shipment timeframe. If we cannot ship on time, we will provide a revised estimate and cancellation/refund options where required.

EU/UK withdrawal rights

EU and UK consumers may have a statutory 14-day cooling-off/right-of-withdrawal period for many online purchases, subject to exceptions. If those rules apply, you may need to tell us you are cancelling within the legal period and return the goods within the required timeframe.

For EU/UK change-of-mind withdrawals, you are generally responsible for return postage if we informed you before purchase, unless we agree to pay it or applicable law requires otherwise. Statutory rights for faulty, not-as-described, or non-conforming goods are separate and remain available.

How to start a return or claim

Email support@coolisgadgets.com with your order number, checkout email, product name, reason for return or claim, and photos/video if the item is damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete.

We will review the request and provide next steps. If a return is approved, we will tell you the correct return address and any required instructions.
